Dear ???

We’re having a good time here in Ha Noi, but the weather isn’t very nice. It rained almost every day, many streets were flooded. So I limited to go out. And there were too many traffic jams. There are many vehicles at rush hours and traffic jams occur frequently. It was more terrible when it rained heavily. However I also had great time when visiting some places. I visited Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Hoan Kiem Lake, Temple of Literature,... . My feeling is very great and very difficult to describe. My period in Ha Noi was short and because of objective reasons, so I only visited those places. Tell you something, when I come back, we talk to each other more.

Yours sincerely,

Tam

____ Dear (Name of friend) I recently visited the Summer Science Museum Exhibition and it was really fun! I have seen so many interesting things that I would love to see again. I went with one of my close friends, and we spent quite a long time getting ready. When we left the weather was really nice and it was really sunny. We went to the museum, and it was really big. It's really easy to get lost in, but we keep it together. First of all we look at all the scientific things, dry as many different things and chemical experiments. We had lunch at the museum, in a special hall. There were so many people, and it was fun! Then we went to the cinema and watched a science movie about planets and the universe. It is very interesting. I would love to go there again! Maybe you can come to me? Love, ______ (Your name)

My dear friend,

I am great here on a vacation in Nha Trang, Viet Nam. The beach is spectacularly charming with white sand and clear water. The sun is bright above us but not too hot.

The people here are extremely friendly and hospitable. I have met my uncle Hung and he has guided me to a lot of interesting places such as the Vietnamese National Oceanographic Museum and a big aquarium nearby.

I will come back with a surprising gift for you.

See you this weekend!

Dear Tom,

I'm having a really good time in Ha Noi, the capital of Viet Nam. The people are hospitable and helpful and the weather has been wonderful: cool and sunny.

In Ha Noi, I visited some of my old friends, Ducky and Donal. It was very nice to see them. We visited The History Museum and some art galleries in Hang Bai street and had lunch together at a vegetarian restaurant.

I bought a lot of souvenirs and postcards for you and other friends.

See you soon.

With love,

Jerry

Dear Hannah,

There I was, taking a long-overdue holiday... staying in a luxurious hotel with a picturesque landscape spanning every direction from the balcony...

Well... I'm not one to turn down a challenge, so I got directions, rented a bike, and started cruisin' the coast

I was determined to reach my destination, though, and it was worth it. Just as the sun was setting. The beach came into view. Sunlight danced across the sea and the grains of sand glistened like white crystals

It was calling my name, so I leaned my bike against a palm tree and walked to the water's edge. Dipping my toes into the clear cool water, I sat on the shore. I watched crescent môn appeared from behind the shadows.

Looking forward to hearing from you

Hey Hannah!

I hope you're doing well. It's great to catch up with you. I wanted to share all the exciting details about my last holiday.

I went to the beautiful island of Bali in Indonesia. It was absolutely stunning! The beaches were pristine, and the lush greenery all around was breathtaking. I spent my days exploring the vibrant local markets, indulging in delicious Balinese cuisine, and soaking up the sun on the stunning beaches. I even had the opportunity to try out some surfing lessons, which was quite an adventure!

The highlight of my trip was definitely visiting the iconic Uluwatu Temple and witnessing the breathtaking sunset from there. The traditional dance performance at the temple was mesmerizing too.

Now, I'm eager to hear about your last holiday! Where did you go, and what did you do there? I'm sure you had an amazing time as well. Let's catch up soon and share our travel stories.

Take care and talk to you soon!

Warm regards,

I'm in the second day of my dream holiday in Dalat. Cool climate, rich natural and human resources, this is truly a dream city. I am currently staying at a hotel. I visited Tran Le Xuan Palace, Truc Lam Zen Monastery, Hang Nga Villa or XQ Su Quan, the campus of Da Lat Railway Station, attractive tourist attractions. And I also participate in the Da Lat flower festival, where hundreds of different flowers are displayed. I am very happy and content right now, because I get to visit such a wonderful place.

The temple is divided into five court yard, each with its own significance and history. The first courtyard stretches from the main gate to Dai Trung gate; the second stands out with Khue Van Cac pavilion. If you notice well, you will find the pavilion symbol on all street signs of Hanoi. The third courtyard is where doctor names was listed on a tombstone above tortoise backs. There are a total of 82 tombstones, with names and origins of 1307 doctors, corresponding to 82 examination courses from 1442 to 1779. If you visit the temple at the beginning of the year or in May when many important examinations take place, you will catch sights of numerous students who come and rub the tortoise head. Such an act is believed to bring them luck to pass the test. The fourth courtyard is dedicated for Confucius and his 72 honoured students, as well as Chu Van An- a famous teachers known for his devotion to teaching. This is also where local authorities choose to cherish brilliant students in Hanoi, like those with top entrance results to university or top graduation outcomes. The last and also furthest courtyard is Thai Hoc house, which used to be Quoc Tu Giam- the first university of Vietnam. Thai Hoc house holds a small collection of old time costumes for students and mandarins, as well as explaining the process of taking and passing the national examination. If you are keen on architecture, Temple of literature has one of the most typical architecture style for centuries in Vietnam, composed of wood and tiles. Along the pass way is hundred-year-old trees that have witnessed ups and downs of history.
